Four hundred Filipino nurses will be given the opportunity to work in Germany, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said on Monday.
Qualified applicants are male or female Filipinos with active Philippine Nursing Licenses and at least two years of professional experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or care institutions.
Applicants should be proficient in the German language or should be willing to undergo a German language training course from April to May 2019.
Charges for the language class will be shouldered by the employer.
The starting gross salary for the open nursing positions amount to €1,900 or roughly P113,000 per month.
This will be raised to €2,300 or around P137,000 once the employee gets the recognition as a qualified nurse in Germany.
Visa and airfare to Germany will also be paid by the employer.
Expenses for the board and lodging, on the other hand, will not be covered.
Qualified applicants may register through the online portal of the POEA at www.eservices.poea.gov.ph and should personally submit the following documents at the POEA office in Mandaluyong City:
Cover letter and curriculum vitae with colored passport size picture;
High School Diploma (notarized copy);
Nursing Diploma (notarized copy);
Board Certificate and copy of license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC);
Certificate of employment in related field (previous and current) (notarized copy);
Attendance and/or level certificate in German language, if any;
Copy of valid passport;
Certificate of POEA online Pre-employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) (peos.poea.gov.ph).
The job opportunity was created through a joint project between the POEA and German Federal Employment Agency.
The deadline of submitting applications is on February 28, 2019.
