The NLEX Road Warriors uncorked a 17-5 run in the final six minutes of the game to come away with a 110-98 victory over TNT on Saturday in Angeles City, Pampanga.
The two teams were tied at 52-all at the half, before a five-point swing from Eric Camson and Mac Baracael put the Road Warriors on top 85-81 heading into the final turn.
TNT kept it close until the six-minute mark of the fourth, as the two teams were knotted at 93-all. But the Road Warriors went on a 13-3 run, capped off by a Bradwyn Guinto basket to stretch the lead to 10 entering the final two minutes.
TNT failed to recover as charities from Carlo Lastimosa and Sean Anthony put the game away.
Lastimosa led NLEX with 22 points, while Sean Anthony had 13. Kevin Alas and Eric Carson added 12 apiece, while Guinto finished the game with 11.
Jayson Castro paced TNT with 17 markers while Mo Tautuaa and Kris Rosales chipped in 15 points each. Troy Rosario and Ranidel de Ocampo were limited to just seven points apiece. —ALG, GMA News
